The premise is a creepy familiar yet, the story is a fascinating unique blend of a believable potential, and the prophecy that spawns it. The five main characters are a sensational group of interesting outcasts. Several times, Dr. Loeb the quasi-leader made me laugh and wrinkle my forehead. In my opinion he carries the story and provides the perfect personality and resume' to make it happen. His interaction with polar opposite, Bowen is entertaining and adds dimensional depth.

A fast-moving, quick read, this story is a clever scenario as the characters mirror the foundations of beliefs that surround the phenomenon. Please read, you will not be disappointed.

In his book, Beyond 2012: Catastrophe or Awakening?: A Complete Guide to End-of-Time Predictions Geoff Stray examines a variety of disaster theories. The format is well-written and easy to follow. Using science and reason, his methods are meticulous down to the tiniest details. Geoff provides information that is credible, and professional. He destroys and defends a multitude of Apocalyptic Warnings. I highly recommend this book for those interested in the realistic truth behind many of the disaster theories and prophesies.

The Shadow of Solomon by Laurence Gardner

Although The Shadow of Solomon is a complex piece of work it is a wonderful collection of a vast array of theories. The author's dedication and detail is impeccable. Yes, he is a conspiracy theorist, but he goes to great lengths to back up his hypotheses.

Much of this book surrounds around Secrets from within Freemasonry. Mr. Gardner traces lengths of the organization as well as beliefs back to Solomon, and Ancient Egypt. It reads like a rich text book with bits of the author's fabulous sarcasm scattered throughout.

I should add that overall I disagree with his theories on the Life of Solomon, but nevertheless, I enjoy the thought process. For those interested in the subject this is a wonderful read.
