About: Award Winning Concealed by Sammy Sutton

Concealed, stands alone and as the sequel to Darkening Danger, as a sweeping apocalyptic thriller where political conspiracy, spiritual warfare, and human endurance collide at the end of the age.

Johanna Mueller once worked deep inside the hidden machinery of government power, where classified files revealed a chilling truth: children were disappearing into secret programs, public knowledge was being manipulated, and the world’s most powerful institutions were quietly reshaping humanity’s future under the language of compassion, safety, and control. When Johanna tried to expose what she found, she lost everything—her career, her freedom, and even her son’s trust. Now, hidden away in witness protection, she clings to the fragments of truth no one else dares speak aloud.

Michael Levine is a brilliant geophysicist and engineer who has spent his life trusting data, systems, and the measurable laws of the universe. But when a mysterious cosmic shield surrounding Earth suddenly fails, plunging the world into suffocating darkness and opening reality itself to impossible forces, science can no longer explain what follows. Civilization fractures almost overnight. Violent factions rise from the ruins. Ancient patterns begin awakening across the land. And the world Michael thought he understood starts collapsing into something far older, stranger, and more terrifying than disaster.

Forced together by catastrophe, Johanna and Michael become the reluctant leaders of a small band of survivors traveling across a broken America in search of safety, meaning, and the mysterious Path revealed through an ancient locket Johanna protected with her life. Along the way they face blood-red seas, shifting gravitational anomalies, fanatical cults, militarized opportunists, psychic assaults, and a hidden order known as the Coil—an ancient force determined to suppress the truth and preserve its dominion at any cost. As the boundaries between science and faith begin to dissolve, Michael must confront the possibility that the universe is not breaking down, but revealing itself.

At the heart of their journey is Haley, a child whose life is preserved through sacrifice and whose mysterious role may reach far beyond survival. As the survivors move north through plagues, betrayals, miracles, and increasingly open signs of a final spiritual war, love grows between Johanna and Michael—not as an escape from the darkness, but as an act of resistance against it. What begins as a desperate fight to stay alive becomes a pilgrimage through judgment, grief, and revelation toward the ancient battlefield of Megiddo, where the unseen war behind history will finally step into the light.

Blending speculative suspense, prophetic vision, and intimate emotional stakes, Concealed is a story of hidden power, cosmic upheaval, and the cost of hope in a world unraveling. It is a novel about what remains when every false refuge falls away—and whether truth, love, and faith can endure when the end of all things has begun.

Press Release: EMPTY ABUNDANCE; Finding Meaning Through Mindful Giving by Tim McCarthy with Author Interview [Video]

Empty Abundance: Finding Meaning Through Mindful Giving

Billboards, TV commercials, radio jingles—they all sell us the same story. “You can buy happiness! The more money you make, the fuller your life will be.” So we buy the shiny new sports car, the sleek designer wardrobe, the gorgeous two-story house. We work hard and make a handsome profit from our labors…and yet we can still feel empty inside.

We’ve all been sold a bill of goods by the dominant consumer culture: that we can spend our way to happiness. In his new book, Tim McCarthy reveals why this simply isn’t true. Like so many, Tim spent years chasing the dream of material wealth, only to find that the promised rewards were empty and unsatisfying. In a voice that is instantly relatable, he recounts his personal journey of frozen assets, lost jobs, and liquidity events, speaking candidly about his own struggles with depression.

Empty Abundance is the story of one man’s path to true abundance—the kind that is not reliant on wealth or material gain.

World Recognized; Award Winning: Beyond My Control, One Man's Struggle With Epilepsy, Seizure Surgery & Beyond, By Stuart Ross McCallum

A story recognized around the world; written by a humble warrior for all to understand empowering other soldiers to fight and overcome seizure disorders!

Previously, I wrote about this book in the context of my son’s battle with epilepsy, and his personal thoughts. I am happy to say it is the most read review I have posted thus far. However, I can’t help, but feel I need to say more.

Stuart’s battle with epilepsy began in his teens. A time, we can all identify as difficult. Like so many others, it manifested in strange incidents that could easily be confused as other conditions. In his book, Stuart shares this scary confusion in a clear and concise story, the story of his life.

Science, now, informs us that 1 in 23 people will experience a seizure and/or epilepsy in their lifetime. This condition is much more common than once believed. The truth is, unlike my son whom has struggled with it since birth, 70% of the people will be struck later in life. Many will recognize an obvious trigger others are not so obvious.

Like many illnesses, conquering epilepsy is relative. Controlling seizures, even with dynamic medical intervention, is a way of life. Stuart sheds light upon the nature of the disease, treatment, and research. His own situation gives credence to the celebration of the things one can control, and to the people that matter. Stuart’s story reveals a strong and supportive woman, admirable in her own right, his wife Lisa. Together, they form an effective bond.

Stuart is a humble man. This is evident in his story, genuinely told to inform, educate, and comfort individuals and families. He shares with dignity the impact the epilepsy places on his and his family’s life. BEYOND MY CONTROL is a real-life journey, guided by a soldier against epilepsy in his own life, but, also, a warrior for others.

Fingerprints Of The Gods by Graham Hancock

I am a huge fan of Graham Hancock. He thinks outside of the box, and I often find his theories fascinating. Unfortunately, I can't always draw the same conclusions. "Fingerprints Of The Gods" is an intensive look, complete with pictures of many fabulous archaeological sites.

The pages are filled with Graham's own hypothesis as well as those of others he graciously includes. He does support the idea that civilizations existed much earlier than we have been led to believe. His views support the concept of a much more intelligent early people that inhabited the planet. At the very least, whether you agree with his opinions or not, it is very entertaining.

The Unobstructed Universe by Stewart Edward White

I normally do not buy into talking to the dead or channeling, I find it interesting, but this one makes me pause. Stewart Edward White writes a very convincing book based on information he claims to receive by way of his deceased wife.It is a very detailed description of the cosmos, afterlife, and the unseen world.  My copy was published in 1940, and given to me by a friend. I'm told it has been published in revision several times since. True or not, it is a Fascinating Read!

The Bridges of Madison County by Robert James Waller

Robert James Waller has a unique ability to use words in such a simple yet, profound way. I admire his talent. The Bridges of Madison County is a beautiful story about middle age romance, responsibility, and sacrifice. Set in The Heartland, Francisca, a european immigrant, struggles with the more sacrificial values of her adopted home. In this book the author creates passionate and complex characters in a tight manuscript without cheating the reader. Whether you have seen the movie or not, this is romance at its best.

The Backdoor to Enlightenment by Za Rinpoche, Ashley Nebelsieck

I really enjoyed this book. 'The Backdoor to Enlightenment' was two-fold for me as a wonderful modern/historical mystery, and a book full of fabulous details and insight about spirituality. A private library provides the perfect environment for the unique mystery.

I am not sure where this book came from...it seems to have appeared on the shelf of my coffee table one day. Its rather mysterious appearance has always been rather significant to me. LOL Nevertheless, it is a fabulous book with an awesome mystery surrounding an interesting artifact.

The Shack by William P. Young

Like so many others, I love this book! It is a story interpreted differently by each person it touches. The story is about understanding God, Death, Love, and so much more. I own this on CD and in book version. I keep an extra supply as gifts to give to those I encounter experiencing grief or just a rough time. I have yet to give a copy to anyone that did not later thank me deeply for this special book with a dynamic message. I can not express highly enough how much I recommend this fantastic story.

The Shadow of Solomon by Laurence Gardner

Although The Shadow of Solomon is a complex piece of work it is a wonderful collection of a vast array of theories. The author's dedication and detail is impeccable. Yes, he is a conspiracy theorist, but he goes to great lengths to back up his hypotheses.

Much of this book surrounds around Secrets from within Freemasonry. Mr. Gardner traces lengths of the organization as well as beliefs back to Solomon, and Ancient Egypt. It reads like a rich text book with bits of the author's fabulous sarcasm scattered throughout.

I should add that overall I disagree with his theories on the Life of Solomon, but nevertheless, I enjoy the thought process. For those interested in the subject this is a wonderful read.

On Wings of Affection by George Snyder

The murder mystery is compelling and spattered with wonderful bits and pieces of a fabulous California subculture combined with snippets of Sam’s Midwestern background. Sam, Pam, and Didier are fabulous characters with definite staying power.

The story is filled with fabulous twists, turns, and edgy glimpses of a wildly seductive lifestyle. George intertwines these emotions into the perfect recipe for murder. A community filled with love, jealously, and lust sets a scene that often left me gasping.

The author’s style is awesome. George Snyder approaches On Wings of Affection with a fabulously developed first person account from Sam, a self-described ‘Jean Brodey’ before moving to California. The story possesses a certain dry humor through Sam’s narration. The author’s ease is delightful, reminiscent of couple of historically beloved authors.

The subtle humor of ’fashioning a flamingo out of a napkin’ is just a small example of the interesting dry humor George injects into the story. His comparisons and detail continue throughout the novel adding a unique perspective.

I highly recommend On Wings of Affection; it will not disappoint those with a flair for a Murder Mystery!

BEYOND MY CONTROL by Stuart Ross McCallum

Beyond My Control, One Man's Struggle With Epilepsy, Seizure Surgery & Beyond, by Stuart Ross McCallum

Stuart's courage is mindboggling!

In Beyond My Control, Stuart Ross McCallum shares with readers his frightening, and chaotic battle with epilepsy.

My 21 year old son suffers from generalized convulsive epilepsy with intractable epilepsy my interaction with the author led me to his book. At no time did I enter an agreement with Stuart Ross McCallum to read or review his work.

Beyond My Control is a well-written, stunningly vivid account of Stuart's experience with epilepsy. I appreciated his brutal honesty about issues surrounding the illness that are all too often avoided. This incredible author is selfless as he reveals truths about his struggles with the illness.

Stuart wastes no time as he quickly moves his readers through his journey. He begins with the onset of seizures in his teens and moves through seizure surgery and after. In less than 100 pages, he tells a masterful story without cheating the reader. I must say, I am envious of his ability to get to the point.

My son said, "Please tell Stuart, I find his book very thoughtful, and helpful. I appreciate that he took the time to write it. His book is intelligently written."

I'm not sure I could say it better than my son could as he was profoundly moved by Stuart's story.

Stuart, thank you for sharing your experience with us, and others!
