Review: The Unbearable Lightness of Prunes by Margaret Jean Langstaff

Margaret Jean Langstaff
A hoot & holler for this southern, redneck blast. All will enjoy the artfully simple southern idiosyncrasies masterfully written in Margaret Jean Langstaff’s, The Unbearable Lightness of Prunes. It was pure pleasure to experience the wonderful mix of characters in this lighthearted tale.

No exclusions, this is a wonderful read for anyone. A perfect story to load on your Kindle; you can’t go wrong. Enjoy the story of Jerrold and his aunt Ginny as they create prune pipe bombs and more. You can read this in less than an hour, and  I guarantee it will change the entire mood of your day.

This is southern humor at its Best. Likely, the most humorous book I've read!

MOLLY HACKER IS TOO PICKY by Lisette Brodey

I do not often read books from this genre, but MOLLY HACKER IS TOO PICKY is not just another chick lit book. There is a lot of well thought substance to her and her dilemmas.  Molly Hacker is hilarious and her situation is one every woman will enjoy and every man should take a gander into the psyche of the woman. Is she too picky, well I’m not exactly sure? She certainly has a lot of dramatic personality traits.

The story is well-written and from within the humor and drama there is a not so subtle truth that females of all ages will understand and enjoy from a personal view. Molly’s job at the SWANSEA HERALD adds another entertaining layer to her as well as to the story.

Ultimately, Molly wants what we all want and that is to find not only love, but a soul mate. We should all be more like her and resist the urge to settle for less. Bravo to the talented Lisette Brodey
